Duration

Normally 3 days + test appointments with the Driving Standards Agency based on a 2:1 trainee to instructor ratio.

Qualifications required

Applicants must hold a full category B car licence.

Objectives

To give existing qualified car drivers the knowledge and skills required to include corrective driving practice as necessary, trailer reversing theory and practice, trailer towing legislation and coupling/uncoupling theory and practice to meet the Driving Standards Agency driving test requirements.

This course will normally be based on a trainee to instructor ratio of 2:1 using the company training vehicle and trailer which meet the DSA minimum test vehicle criteria.
